Spring is definitely here. Seed planting is now well under way . Ready for harvest in Early may.
Traditional methods still being used, the witches brush …..it enables us to protect the leaf and stem with the cold weather now here, encouraging new shoots to grow for a thicker crop in a few weeks time .
Spring is coming. Febuary every year we start to clean out lasts years crop and start to propagate our first seeds, ready for planting in the first week in March.
Nothing goes to waste 🌿 We make use of excess crops by using traditional methods like scything and transplanting. The tops are spread into empty beds to keep the cycle going.
