Nothing Wasted
Nothing goes to waste 🌿
We make use of excess crops by using traditional methods like scything and transplanting. The tops are spread into empty beds to keep the cycle going.

Spring is coming. Febuary every year we start to clean out lasts years crop and start to propagate our first seeds, ready for planting in the first week in March.
With the first spell of really cold weather forcast for tonight, its essential we protect the leaf and stem from the frost…. minus 4 is expected. The spring water at source is 11 degrees , which is going to keep the frost at bay once the watercress is rolled in .
Simply the best of English Watercress you will find around at this time of year. We are unique being able to supply watercress 52 weeks of the year, despite the testing winter, we are still able to produce a large leaf, clean stems , full of flavour. #supportlocal #Romseywatercress #sunbeamwatercress
Traditional methods still being used, the witches brush …..it enables us to protect the leaf and stem with the cold weather now here, encouraging new shoots to grow for a thicker crop in a few weeks time .
✨👑 Hampshire Watercress — Fit for a King 👑✨ Our watercress has truly come up Trumps! 🌱We’re beyond proud that Sunbeam Watercress was featured on the menu at the state banquet at Windsor Castle for President Donald Trump. Guests dined in the splendour of St George’s Hall, where the feast began with a Hampshire watercress…
Spring is definitely here. Seed planting is now well under way . Ready for harvest in Early may.
